I saw them building this drain, so once the diggers moved out, the UrbanUnderworld team moved in. The big flap over the outfall. |

From the entry chamber, just behind the flap, a 1.5m RCP leads off with a very small flow of water discharging. |

After just 20m we discovered this unique feature. We have never seen it on any other drain. It appears to be some sort of chamber that can separate pollution from the water flow. However, it was impassable so we exited the drain and found a manhole upstream of the obstacle. |
